Contest open to residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Contest start and end dates, entry details, prize descriptions, and draw dates will be specified in each individual contest announcement.
CONTEST RULES
ENTRY PERIOD & PROMOTER
The contest (the “Contest”) is promoted by BeaverTails Canada Inc. (“BeaverTails” or “Promoter”). Specific contest entry periods (“Entry Period”) will be defined in the announcement of each contest.
HOW TO ENTER
No purchase necessary. To enter:
- Follow BeaverTails’ official Instagram® account @beavertails (or other social platform as specified);
- Complete the entry action described in the contest post (for example: like, comment, share, tag a friend, etc.).
You must have a valid, public (non-private) social media account to be eligible. Entries must comply with the platform’s terms of use.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to Canadian residents of legal age in their province or territory. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and their immediate families or household members of BeaverTails and its contest partners are not eligible.
PRIZES & WINNER SELECTION
Details about prizes, number of winners, and approximate retail values (ARVs) will be specified in the contest post. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winners will be selected by random draw and notified via direct message on the platform used for entry. Winners must respond within five (5) days and correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to claim the prize. If a winner fails to respond or does not meet eligibility requirements, an alternate winner may be selected.
CONDITIONS
- Prize must be accepted as awarded; no cash or other substitutions, unless determined by the Promoter.
- Prizes may not be exactly as shown or advertised.
- Promoter reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time for technical or other reasons beyond its control.
- Any misuse, inappropriate behavior, or violation of contest rules may result in disqualification.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By participating, entrants release BeaverTails, contest partners, social media platforms, and their respective employees and agents from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation or prize acceptance.
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, or other platforms.
PRIVACY
Personal information will be collected and used solely to administer the contest in accordance with BeaverTails’ privacy policy. Winners consent to the use of their name, city, and likeness for publicity without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
GOVERNING LAW
All disputes are subject to the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada. Residents of Quebec may submit any dispute related to the contest to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.
